Founded by Lissette Ciabattoni, LCSW, ESA Comfort Animals is a ESA qualification & licensed therapists .

Lissette Ciabattoni, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Therapist in the State of Florida and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Lissette has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College School Of Social Work in NYC. She went on to complete her clinical examination and earn her clinical license after several years of clinical practice and supervision. Over the years, Lissette has been licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Florida and is actively licensed in Florida, where she resides. Lissette also completed the Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Social Work at Hunter College. 

Lissette is trained and demonstrates expertise in person-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and comprehensive behavioral health assessments. Her first therapeutic role was providing individual therapy in an outpatient clinic setting. In that setting, she saw clients ranging in age from child to adult. Client’s varied in need from mild mental health symptoms related to anxiety, depression, health problems, and past trauma, to much more severe mental health disorders. She went on to work in various settings, including becoming a Clinical Director in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Florida. Lissette has demonstrated the ability to work with multi-cultural populations and individuals of all ages. Her experience in various treatment settings and with multiple people make her an extremely versatile and competent clinician. Lissette is also fluent in English and Spanish.
